Hurricane Irma, a category four storm, prompted nearly 7 million people in the southeast to evacuate their homes and communities for safety. This is a large majority of the 9.5 million total Floridians living in the nearly 50,000 community associations statewide.
Just like Hurricane Harvey, Community Associations Institute, CAI, is here to support these communities and their residents in need and provide you with timely updates and resources. Currently, we are gathering local information from our community associations in the southeast region that we will report back to you on this page.
