Attorney Kelly C. Elmore is a principal at Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit and practices in Chicago and Indianapolis. She advises community associations on all aspects of corporate law including association contracts, amendments to declarations and bylaws, covenant violations/rule enforcement, architectural review process, special assessment process, board elections, assessment collection, foreclosures and bankruptcy issues, developer turnover, construction defect disputes, and contract review. Kelly has been a contributor to Common Ground and is a frequent lecturer and guest panelist on various association issues for CAI legal forums
Richard Orduno, CMCA, AMS, PCAM serves as regional vice president for the Raleigh, N.C., region of Community Association Management Service. He has held various roles including community manager, vice president, and president. Orduno also has cowritten and taught several continuing education courses.
