M-350: Manager and the Law

Course Information

  • Learn how to manage effectively in the legal environment.
    This course offers realistic ways to deal with the legal issues you face on the job. By reviewing cases that have impacted community associations and exploring a case step by step, you’ll gain a greater understanding of how the legal system works and how the law affects managers and their day-to-day operations.
    Topics include:

    • Legal issues in community association management
    • Employment law
    • Management agreements
    • Manager liability
    • Rules interpretation, enforcement and adoption

  • Virtual Edition (Zoom): 2 days | 12-3 p.m. ET both days​
    Classroom Edition: 2 days | 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. both days
    Online Course: 4-6 hours to complete. Students have 4 months—120 days from purchase date—to complete the course and take the 60-minute exam to receive credit.

  • Participant guide and digital access to bonus readings and materials

  • Students have 30 days from the live course to complete an online M-300 verification question and evaluation to ensure you get credit for this course. You must complete both items to receive credit.
