If state or federal legislation is introduced that could impact your community, you will receive an advocacy alert email that includes easy ways for you to take action. The more people that take action, the better we can protect the 75.5 million people living and working in community associations! In 2023, more than 6,000 CAI advocates emailed or called their legislators using our advocacy platform, impacting more than 50 pieces of legislation to make sure they supported community associations.

As the national advocate for community associations, Community Associations Institute (CAI) is committed to encouraging the active participation of community association advocates in helping define community association law and policy.
