Congratulations! Your session was accepted for the 2017 Annual Conference. Below is the checklist and timeline for your materials as well as the PowerPoint template you will use when creating your visual presentation.

Registration

Speakers registration for the Annual Conference & Exposition is $299 (a $350 discount from the registration fee of $649). You can register online. Enter the Discount Code - 2017SPKR - in the shopping cart before you make payment.

The registration for the Conference includes the Welcome Reception, exhibit hall and lunches Thursday and Friday, Annual Awards Reception, networking breaks, and access to all education sessions.

Speaker's Webinar

 If you are a first-time presenter you are required to listen to  a 30-minute, pre-recorded webinar on presentation techniques

Final Handouts are due March 15, 2017:

Send final outlines, handouts, and PowerPoint presentations by March 15. Refer to the "Specifications for Presentations Handouts" and the "Specifications for PowerPoint Presentations" PDFs before sending.

CAI reviews all presentations before they are considered final. Company logos are not to be added to handouts. Please e-mail all materials to Holly Carson at hcarson@caionline.org. 

Mobile App: 

This conference will feature a mobile app. It will:

  • Hold your speaker profile. Please email us your photo if we don't already have it from a previous conference.
  • Host your handouts. Please email us your handouts, including Powerpoint slides, articles, or other items you would like to share.
  • Enable participants to build a schedule of sessions to attend – like yours!
  • Enable participants to rate and evaluate your session, and give you stellar reviews!
  • Enable participants to connect with you and your firm.

Session Recordings:  

Again this year, we will be recording the conference sessions. As a presenter, please:

  • Introduce yourself and your session so it is clear to those listening later.
  • Repeat questions into the microphone.
  • Let us know in advance if you have any questions about being recorded.

These rates are valid until March 30 or until the room block is sold-out.
Reservation Center at 866-227-5944 to secure a reservation for the group is listed as CAI 2017 National Conference.

For reservations contact the hotel at (702) 731-7222 and identify yourself as a CAI attendee. A limited number of rooms have been reserved and will be held as a block until March 28 or until the block has been filled. To ensure a room reservation, call as soon as possible. Once the block is sold-out rooms will be available based on best available rate.  

CAI registration hours are:

Wednesday 1:00 – 7 p.m.
Thursday 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Friday 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Saturday 7:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
